Headshots: From Havana to Baltimore

Networking is a funny thing.

I’ve been living and working in Baltimore for a long time. I have a large professional and personal network, from my career as a law firm CMO, from service on nonprofit boards, from my social activities, various places I’ve lived, as well as family and long-time friends. Sometimes I think I know just about everybody in town.

But it took a trip to Cuba to connect with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra musicians Marcia McHugh and Darius Skoraczewski. In February 2020 they traveled to Havana to conduct workshops in connection with La Ruta de Mozart, the annual Mozart Festival. Turns out they live something like two miles away from me. Darius literally parks in front of my house from time to time when he cycles around nearby Lake Montebello. We probably passed each other in the grocery store and didn’t even realize it. So, it was great to make this connection and to have them in the studio to update their headshots.

Does your headshot need updating? Give me a call! My studio is COVID-compliant and completely accessible. I’d love to work with you.
