Actor, or audition, headshots are all about emotion. Whether you’re seeking roles as a romantic lead, a dramatic heavy or a lighthearted best buddy, your actor headshot has to immediately convey your suitability for the part. You need it to stand out from the dozens of headshots casting directors see on a daily basis. Your promotional photos should be captivating and memorable as well.

The right wardrobe is essential for a successful headshot, so we’ll work together beforehand to help you select the correct clothing styles and colors. I will provide guidance with hair and makeup, and can offer professional hairstylists and makeup artists if you prefer.

You will need to practice a wide range of emotions before you come to the studio. There are a lot of requirements for actor and model portfolio shots, so I'll make sure we cover all the bases on the day of our session. I want you to deliver photos that will bring you a lot of work!

Baltimore actor headshot photographer

"Magnificent images of David Keltz as Edgar Allan Poe were captured by Vickie Gray. As David’s producer, we had to find the perfect photographer willing to tackle our very specific challenge. Prior exceptional experience with her led us right back to her. Vickie’s “Can do!” attitude makes all the difference! She deserves our highest recommendation."
