My “Havana Snapshots” exhibit opens on September 5th, 2019 at the LB Bakery of the Lord Baltimore Hotel. The show is part of the Hotel’s “Good Taste” program, launched in 2018, which showcases the talents of local artists. This will be their first photography exhibition. Images of Havana will be displayed in a variety of media — on oversized paper “engineer prints”, and on canvas, metal and glass displays. I wanted to create ephemeral, fleeting glimpses of scenes that I photographed on the run, from buses, taxis and literally “shooting from the hip.” The show will run through December 4.
